b. Keep the upper right and lower left right angles of the new door seals purchased, and cut off the other pair of diagonal corners with scissors;

c. Measure the length and width of the original door seal from side to side. On the basis of the original size of the original door seal, leave a margin of about 4mn on each side, so that it can be used for lap joint when hot glued;

d. The magnetic strip of the new door seal should be cut into a 45° oblique angle so that the butt joints form a right angle of 90°;

e. Melt and stick the lap joint with an electric soldering iron, and trim the joint with a blade to make it smooth to ensure the sealing of the door seal; when the electric soldering iron is melted and adhered, it needs to be connected in the reverse direction of the door seal;

f. Install the glued door seal, check it with a piece of paper, the door seal is good, and the fault of the refrigerator is eliminated.

Third, if the refrigerator door seal is s-shaped bending. Use a ruler to press the inside of the seal, and then use a hair dryer to slightly heat the curved part. Stop heating when the plastic becomes slightly soft. After the refrigerator door seal is cooled, remove the ruler to restore the seal to its original state. .

It should be noted that when heating with a hair dryer, the temperature should not be too high, otherwise the door seal plastic will soften, foam and deform. When heating, if you use a 700w hair dryer, it should be controlled within 1min, and it is appropriate to be about 3cm away from the seal.
